Augeo developed and manages a customer data platform to identify the end-users of Cargill products and track the products they purchase. In order to deploy a program in remote international markets, Augeo sourced barcode reader technology, product identification systems, scanner and proprietary data retrieval applications and the program includes a mobile platform and website for data transfer and capture at the product level.
The program identifies end user of products allowing Cargill to market to more effectively and utilize and track marketing dollars for specific activities. 40% of consumers who received text campaigns sought additional information from POS about promotion with high conversion rates for actual purchases.
