The client hosts a bi-annual in-person marketplace for Dealers to purchase products from a variety of exhibitors, normally accounting for 65% of company sales. Because of in-person event restrictions, the company was looking for the best option to replace the well-attended event with something virtual. Augeo was tasked with finding the best way to host the marketplace, while also keeping the convenience of shopping from exhibitors all in one place.
Augeo’s team of VME professionals planned, produced and executed the virtual marketplace from the client’s dealer incentive platform. The seamless user experience developed enabled attendees to log in through a familiar platform with streamlined communications to access the event. Access to sponsor, retailer and other important event information was organized and readily available in one place, where attendees were able to purchase products and have orders shipped to them directly.
The team quickly transitioned and successfully hosted the week-long virtual marketplace from the dealer platform, resulting in outstanding attendance and sales results. The online environment provided additional space for promotional content in emails, videos and logo placement, capturing additional revenue from exhibitors. The team designed a streamlined process for exhibitors to create virtual booths, learn about products and purchase on-site.
