KEVIN: Our whole world has shifted. In a recent Gallup poll, 60% of employees worldwide are experiencing emotional detachment at work.¹ People want connection. They want purpose. They want drive. From a workplace perspective, they want you to figure it out.
First, I want to start with Juli to give us background on Structural, an Augeo company and all things related to connection and community.
JULI: By way of background, Augeo is a global leader in enterprise engagement and loyalty platform technologies, and we're excited to share that we recently acquired Structural—an integrated community, mobility and connectivity platform technology and employee engagement software.
The acquisition represents the culmination of what we view as a strategic, multi-year partnership with a focus on advancing workplace engagement and organizational connectivity.
"People want connection. They want purpose. They want drive. From a workplace perspective, they want you to figure it out."
KEVIN: I want to explore what's happening in the marketplace. Sarita, you've got a great point of view on that.
SARITA: There's a new sense of urgency around fostering community and connection in the workplace, and companies are looking to be more deliberate about how to engage their workforce. Despite recessionary pressures, people should still feel that they have opportunities to grow and connect across your organization.

"Another pillar of workplace culture is surrounding people with a contemporary experience that is supportive of professional development—strengthened through the foundation of connection and community."
KEVIN: As we discuss the idea of a cultural shift, organizations are trying to figure out the right ways to reengage employees—and the right tools to do so. There is a real need for a proactive approach.
What does a proactive approach look like—and why is it important in advancing workplace culture?
JULI: It's important to be proactive in defining your workplace culture. To attract the right talent in the right roles, drive engagement, foster a sense of belonging and...
